Next Round Life Champs NFP INC was founded on a simple belief: every young person deserves an opportunity to succeed both inside and outside the ring. Co-Founders Giovante Bradley and Joseph Myles created the organization to provide a safe, positive environment where youth ages 8–17 can build confidence, discipline, respect, and resilience through the sport of boxing.
Our program goes far beyond teaching punches and footwork. Every class combines boxing fundamentals with structured life-skills education designed to help participants become successful students, leaders, teammates, and members of their community. Through mentorship, accountability, and encouragement, we strive to help every young person discover their potential and develop the character needed to overcome life's challenges.
At Next Round Life Champs, we believe that the lessons learned in the gym—hard work, perseverance, integrity, and self-control—prepare our participants for success in school, at home, in their careers, and throughout life. We aren't simply building better athletes; we're building champions for life.

The Leaders Behind Next Round Life Champs
Next Round Life Champs NFP INC was founded by two individuals who share a passion for empowering young people through boxing, mentorship, and life-skills education. Together, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to discover their potential, overcome adversity, and build a brighter future. Together, Giovante and Joseph combine lived experience, mentorship, public service, and community leadership to build a program where young people can discover confidence, purpose, and lifelong success.
🥊 Giovante Bradley
Co-Founder • President • Head Coach
Giovante Bradley is the Co-Founder, President, and Head Coach of Next Round Life Champs NFP INC. As the oldest son and oldest grandson on both sides of his family, leadership has always been a natural part of who he is. Known for his humility and his willingness to help those in need, Giovante has dedicated his life to serving others and creating opportunities for young people to succeed.
Growing up on the South Side of Chicago during a time when gang violence and crime deeply affected many neighborhoods, Giovante witnessed firsthand the challenges that too many young people face. Determined to create a better future, he and his family relocated to Murphysboro, Illinois, seeking a fresh start and a fighting chance at a better life.
Giovante was introduced to boxing at a very young age through his mother, whose favorite sport was boxing. Inspired by watching legends such as Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather Jr., and many other champions, he began teaching himself the fundamentals of boxing at the age of 14. Through countless hours of practice and studying the sport, he came to understand that boxing is far more than competition—it is a way of life that teaches discipline, resilience, confidence, respect, and perseverance. With a background in public service and a lifelong passion for mentoring others, Giovante founded Next Round Life Champs to provide a safe, structured environment where youth ages 8–17 can develop both athletic skills and strong character. He believes every young person deserves positive role models, meaningful opportunities, and a community that believes in them.
As Head Coach, Giovante is committed to helping every participant build confidence, overcome adversity, and discover their full potential. His goal is not simply to develop better boxers, but to help build stronger students, leaders, teammates, and future members of the community. Outside the gym, Giovante's vision is for Next Round Life Champs to become a cornerstone of Southern Illinois—an organization recognized for empowering youth, strengthening families, and creating lasting positive change for generations to come.

🥊 Joseph Myles
Co-Founder • Vice President • Assistant Coach
Joseph Myles is a proud Murphysboro, Illinois native and graduate of Murphysboro High School. As Co-Founder and Vice President of Next Round Life Champs NFP INC, he is dedicated to creating opportunities that empower local youth and strengthen the community he has always called home.
Growing up in a small town, Joseph understands the importance of positive role models and meaningful opportunities for young people. His professional background in mental health has given him valuable experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and reinforced his belief that mentorship, structure, life skills, and supportive relationships can transform lives.
Joseph believes that boxing is about much more than learning punches and footwork. By combining boxing fundamentals with mentorship and life-skills education, he helps young people develop discipline, confidence, resilience, and character that extend far beyond the gym.
Although basketball has always been his favorite sport, Joseph has become a lifelong boxing enthusiast and admires the dedication, determination, and excellence demonstrated by his favorite boxer, Terence "Bud" Crawford. Those same qualities inspire his work with every participant who joins the program.
Outside of Next Round Life Champs, Joseph enjoys sports, traveling, collecting sneakers, discovering new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. He is passionate about creating an environment where every young person is encouraged to dream bigger, work harder, and believe in their own potential.
Joseph's vision is for Next Round Life Champs to become a trusted pillar of Murphysboro and Jackson County—an organization recognized for empowering youth, strengthening families, and creating lasting positive change for generations to come.
